Elephant Pepper Camp
Elephant Pepper Camp is situated within the newly founded Mara North Conservancy, which was known as the Koiyaki Community Ranch previously and is only a half hour drive away from the Mara River. Elephant Pepper Camp is a very comfortable and homely camp aiming to provide clients with a unique and authentic safari experience. The camp is situated next to a water hole, so in the dry periods there are a lot of plain’s game around camp. The grass around the camp is very high in salts, especially near the honeymoon tent where there are natural springs in the wetter times, so this attracts a lot of elephant that are free to roam around the camp at night time. The camp is seasonal with no permanent structures, no generator, no traffic, just the sights and sounds of the African bush. The eight large light canvas tents include en-suite dressing rooms, ensuite bathrooms with safari showers filled with hot water on request and flush toilets. One of the tents can be transformed to a family tent that contains two extra beds. There’s an open-sided dining tent as well as a sitting-room tent with plump sofas and cushions,

Elephant Pepper Camp is an original bush camp, eco-friendly, committed to finding a way of life that does not harm the wilderness and revenue from the camp goes back to the local community.

Elephant Pepper Camp is put up for the season and then packed away to leave no trace behind. The homely atmosphere of this camp is part of its charm. Clients can relax with nature, no generators, no vehicles passing, no permanent structures jarring the skyline, just the sights and sounds of the bush which completely surround you.
