Africa’s Last Eden – that is how the ecologist and conservationist Mike Fay referred to Loango National Park in 1997 when he walked 3000 km along the forest corridor between Congo and Gabon. Visiting Loango means experiencing dense primary and secondary rainforest, lagoon, savannah and beach and seeing gorillas, elephants on the beach, whales and much, much more. Gabon is only for those who have visited Africa before and know to appreciate the rough beauty of nature and who are not expecting to get tea from a silver platter.

Kenya is where it all began: home to the original safari holiday and still one of the most popular destinations for safaris in the world. Wheter you want to visit the unforgettable Masai Mara reserve, private concessions like Sosian or Loisaba and the idyllic undiscovered beach of Lamu island, Kenya caters for all. If you are a frequent traveller to Africa or a first time vistor, Kenya has the best lodges, guides and national parks. A selection of the lodges recommended are included in a variety of safaris that can be made in this beautiful country.

Tanzania is home to some of the most breathtaking wildlife viewing and tracking in Africa if not the world. A Serengeti wildlife safari or exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater offer the wildlife enthusiast an up close and personal wildlife safari with the chance of seeing the big five in their natural environment. Tanzania is East Africa's principle wildlife safari destination and offers a selection of safaris, from the well trodden paths of wildlife and migration safaris in the Serengeti to the lesser known and thus less busy parks of southern and western Tanzania including Ruaha and the Selous.
